"We've all said at one time or another, I wish some of that energy from that kid would rub off on me. As we watch 2-4 year olds jump off couches, swing from the ceiling and run about the place from the comfort of our living room chair, it's no wonder we've picked up a little weight. So, I want to try out something. I want to burn a few extra calories per day by doing something my 6-year-old does. And it starts TODAY!"

A Trip to Roller Dome!
I don't think an Aleve or a Tylenol is going to save these 35-year-old bones after being pushed and shoved by 30 or so very active teenagers and youth. I was even knocked over one time by a hit-and-run, which kept me off the floor for 30 minutes and then close by the rail for the remainder of the time I was there. But even with all that, I had an absolute blast and boy did it take me back to my own youth. My suggestion though if you do go to your local skate rink and you haven't been in eons, go during the mature adult time. And remember to have fun, because that's what it is all about - fun.
